After many years on the sidelines, I joined my husband, Dean, last year in one of his many hobbies- keeping honeybees. His love of nature and the outdoors has really rubbed off on me over the years and has lead me to my current endeavors and position as a sales representative and advocate for our home based business- Caruso's Honey Co. This past year I helped harvest the honey from our hives and I not only gained muscle, from heavy lifting, but knowledge, an appreciation for what the American Honeybee keeper does, and for the honeybees themselves. They are the most fascinating creatures you will ever encounter with the hardest work ethics you will ever know. Honeybees not only produce for us delectable golden honey to consume, but they are a critical component of our agricultural operations in the U.S. 80 percent of insect crop pollination is accomplished by the honeybees. In fact, approximately one-third of the total human diet is derived directly or indirectly from insect-pollinated plants(fruits, legumes and vegetables). Our goals are to maintain our honeybee hives with the most natural procedures possible while being able to delivery to our customers Pure farm fresh Northwest products directly from the beekeeper. We are dedicated to old fashioned farm practices, producing only our favorite kind of honey: raw, unprocessed, unpasteurized, and full of sweet flower flavor- that only a family farm can deliver.

My Motto:
In life we don't get what we want, we get what we are. If we want more we have to be able to be more, in order to be more you have to face rejection.
